GENERAL QUESTIONS:
Where are you based?
We are based in Chino Hills, California, US. All our garments are designed, made, and shipped in the US from our small sewing studio in SoCal.
Where can I contact you, and how long will it take to get an answer?

Between Monday to Friday; we usually respond within 12h, if not faster. We prioritize your messages and love being in contact with our customers. Still, we might be busy preparing orders, and sometimes life gets in the way, so please be patient if we haven’t responded yet 🤗
On the weekends, we try to unwind and recharge, so it might take longer to respond.

ORDERING:
What’s the difference between Made-to-order (MTO) and Ready-to-ship (RTS)?
The main difference is the lead time. Made-to-order garments are only made after an order is placed and, therefore, take between 2-8 weeks to complete, depending on the order volume at the time. Ready-to-ship garments and samples made in advance that ship within 2-3 days.
How do I choose the right size?
The best way to do it is by knowing your measurements: bust, waist, and hips. And then, check the size chart of the garment.

How many sizes do you offer?
We currently offer sizes from XXS to 5XL on most of our garments.
Although we try to be as size inclusive as possible, pattern grading is a skill that takes a lot of time, and being a small team of 1 doing everything, we don’t always have the time to do so. Nevertheless, we're working towards accommodating more body types and sizes.
Do you offer try-ons?
At this moment, we are not offering try-ons. If you are unsure about a size, the best is to contact us for advice or order a standard non-customized piece and go from there. Non-customized pieces are eligible for returns and exchanges.
I live in SoCal. Can I come to your studio for a fitting?
Our studio is in Chino Hills but is not ready to welcome in-person visits.
I'm not sure what color I like. Can I get a swatch?
Yes, of course! You may order any color you like from our swatch page here.
Can I change my order after it has been placed?
Yes. Changes can be made within 24 hours after submitting the order.
Can I add an item to my order?
You may place a new order and contact us with your order number, so we can combine your shipping. Shipping rates are automatically calculated based on the garments' weight, and no shipping fee adjustments will be needed.
Can you rush my order?
If you'd like the item delivered before a certain date, let us know in the customizations box or leave us a note at check out. We'll do our best to meet your date, but due to the nature of our process we cannot guarantee delivery dates. Alternatively, you can contact us to check on our current production queue.
I need an item for a specific date, what do I do?
If you need the item on a particular date, leave us a message with the date you need the package delivered. We’ll do our best to meet the date; otherwise, we’ll contact you and offer the next closest available date.
Please be advised that we don't account for shipping delivery times. Yuki.Buttons is not responsible for delayed, lost, or damaged packages in transit. Please double-check your billing and shipping address when placing an order, as we cannot reroute packages once they leave our studio.
What is the lead time?
Lead times for MTO garments vary depending on the volume orders we might have at the time. They are updated monthly and can vary from 2 weeks to 8 weeks, not including delivery times.
RTS garments ship in 2-3 days.
Do you have any items in stock?
We carry a small stock of RTS pieces in our best-selling designs, colors, and sizes. Check them out here.
Smaller items like scrunchies are in constant production and in stock too. You can purchase them here.

Can I return or exchange a garment?
We accept returns for a refund and exchanges on non-customized items. To do so, please follow these steps. On-sale items are not eligible for returns or exchanges unless defective or damaged.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, you may cancel your order 24 hours after purchase by contacting us at hello@yukibuttons.com.
Do you have gift cards?
We do! Check them out here. All gift cards are delivered digitally via email so that you may forward them along to the recipient or print it out for a physical, tangible gift :)
Do you offer payment plans or take installments?
We are currently offering payment plans through Shop Pay Installments, which offers payments in four installments.
Do you have any sales?
We have discounted items in our Sale section, with items in perfect condition that have been returned and samples we’ve made for photoshoots.
We also have up to 15% discount sales from time to time. Sign up for our mailing list or follow us on social media to stay up to date!
CUSTOMIZATIONS:
Can you customize a garment for me?
Yes, we offer complimentary length adjustments on all of our Made-To-Order garments. We can also make other basic changes. For further information on customizations, please check out this page.
Do you make custom sizes?
If you fall in between sizes or different parts of your body fall on different size brackets, we can adjust the sizes in the garment for a fee.
If you don’t see your size in the chart, it means we haven’t graded the pattern yet. We are working towards a more size-inclusive range, but we are not ready to expand it yet.

Can the sale or RTS items be customized?
No. Since they are pre-made, we can’t make any changes to those items.
Is there any customization fee?
Length adjustments and other basic changes will have small fee starting January 2023. For any alterations beyond those, we offer a “Customizations flat fee” available for purchase here.
Can you make me a custom design?
We are always open to new ideas and feedback, but we cannot develop new patterns besides the ones we decide to add to our collection. Please check out our shop periodically as we introduce new designs every year.
Can I send you my fabric for you to make a garment?
Yes, absolutely! As a small sustainable business, we must be very mindful about the fabrics we’re willing to use and the color/pattern range I offer. Therefore, we think it’s only fair to provide everyone the opportunity to have our pieces in their preferred color and print. Please check how to proceed here.
Can I return or exchange a custom item?
No. Simply because we cannot resell a garment with someone else’s adjustments.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY:
How long will it take for my order to come?
RTS and other items in stock will ship within 2-3 days. MTO items will have different lead times depending on the volume of orders and can vary from 2-8 weeks. If RTS and MTO items are purchased in the same order, they will be shipped together at the latest estimated delivery date.
You will receive a confirmation email when you place your order, and we will send you a shipping confirmation with a tracking number as soon as your order leaves our studio. Please note that we are unable to guarantee delivery dates.
I live in SoCal, do you offer local pick-up?
We are currently not offering pick-ups.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes, we do! You’ll see the different shipping rates and estimated delivery times at check-out.
Can I update the shipping address on my order?
Yes, we can update the address before shipping the order. Send an email to hello@yukibuttons.com with your order number and new address. Please double-check your address, as we can’t change it once the package is in transit.
Can I track my order?
Yes, all orders ship with a tracking number that can be used to follow the tracking history of the package. We are unable to provide tracking information beyond that offered by the courier.
CARE:
How do I care for my garments?
- Machine wash at low to medium heat (40ºC / 104F), gentle cycle, with like colors.
- Let dry on a rack or in the dryer at low temperature (40ºC / 104F), gentle cycle.
- To avoid shiny iron marks, iron inside out at medium-high or with a cloth in between the garment and the iron.
- Do not bleach.
All fabrics are unwashed and some color fading is expected with the first wash.

My clothes ripped. What can I do?
Linen and cotton are strong and durable fabrics; however, some thinning can occur in high-friction areas. We don’t offer repair services at the moment, but we always encourage mending the garments yourself. Mending techniques like sashiko or visible mending are trendy now and can add a fun detail to the garment. Or use invisible techniques like darning by machine. Youtube has a lot of tutorials!
If you can’t mend them yourself, bring your garments to your local alterations service provider.
