GARMENT CUSTOMIZATIONS

The beauty of being a made-to-order business means that each piece is born to fit a special customer and we can adjust the garment for a better fit. 


Length adjustment

We offer length adjustments on all of our Made-To-Order garments. 

If you need to lengthen or shorten any garment, just leave us a note in the ‘Customizations’ box with either of these details: 

  • Length to be added/shortened
  • Total length of the garment you’d like
  • Your height

Length adjustments can be made on: 

  • Overalls: torso and/or inseam.
    E.g., For someone who is 6ft tall, we’ll usually add 2 inches to the torso and 5 inches to the inseam. 
  • Tops and blouse: body, sleeves or straps.
  • Bottoms: the rise and/or inseam. 

 If we have any questions about your request, we’ll contact you via email to discuss and confirm the adjustments needed. 

Please note that any sale for a customized garment is final and is not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds. 


Other customizations

Here’s a list of other customizations we do offer: 

  • Pockets: Front, back, and/or bib pockets can be added to overalls. Complimentary. 
  • Waist adjustment for bottoms: When the hip measurement falls on one size, but the waist falls into another, we can merge both sizes for a better fit. Available with “Customizations flat fee” purchase. 
  • Armhole for tops: Armhole, sleeve, or strap adjustments can be made to any tops and blouses. Available with “Customizations flat fee” purchase. 

For any other alterations, contact us to advise you better! 

We are always open to new ideas and feedback, but we cannot develop new patterns besides the ones we decide to add to our collection. Please check out our shop periodically  as we introduce new designs every year. 


Can I send you my fabric for you to make a garment? 

Yes, absolutely! As a small sustainable business, we must be very mindful about the fabrics I’m willing to use and the color/pattern range I offer. Therefore, we think it’s only fair to provide everyone the opportunity to have our pieces in their preferred color and print. 

Process: 

  1. Send us a message at hello@yukibuttons.com with the garment/s you’d like to customize and the fabric details (width of the fabric and pattern/print), so we can advise you on the amount you’ll need to purchase. 
  2. Place an order for the garment and a “Customization flat fee” with a note stating it is a custom fabric and any other adjustments you may need. 
  3. Purchase the fabric and have it shipped to the following address:                         Yuki.Buttons

  4. We will confirm the reception of the fabric and provide you with a more accurate lead time. It usually takes 2 weeks to ship, depending on the volume of orders at the time.
  5. We will ship the garment + any remnant of the fabric.
